You all have no idea how guilty I feel about not being active in interacting with others online, especially here at dA. I used to "blog" here on a daily basis, along with regularly posting my work here and commenting on other artist's work. Then college started and it all went downhill. Now it seems as if I am "lucky" to write a couple of times a year. Yikes.
I honestly don't care for making New Year's Resolutions because I hardly keep them, but here is one for me: revamp my love for deviantART. Become more active in interacting with my friends and watchers, along with other artists here. Draw more and paint more and design more and maybe even create a few tutorials to help people improve in their own art.
Just a thought for myself.

I think, once I develop the habit again of being active on dA, it'll stick with me this time. Over the past few years though, I've just been seriously struggling with balancing the Internet and my classes.
Moving on, I created a new layout for my blog,
Victoresque. It features my recent digital painting of a lion. I'll be using the site as my art/sketch blog. I'll also be (hopefully) writing a few book reviews and blogging about wild cat conservation - that is something (as you all may know) that I have recently become incredibly passionate about.
I will also sell prints there. I made quite a few a while back, but haven't started selling them. I'm getting ready to work on that once this journal entry is posted.

Outside of Victoresque, I'm looking into selling prints through either society6 and/or the Prints system here at deviantART as well so I don't have to worry about printing and shipping the prints myself. Has anyone used these services before? How are they? Also, does anyone have a favourite work of mine that they'd like to have available to buy as a print?
Cheers, and have a merry 2013, everyone!
